Had an intermittent issue that has now rendered my bike dead after installing my TMAX w/Autotune and taking a test ride today. Fortunately I was within walking distance from home.
Bike details in sig.
It sounds and feels like the bike is choking repeatedly. Happens in any gear, often when accelerating and sometimes at constant speed. Sound comes from left side (not air filter) and sounds like a cough or sneeze. After ten minutes of riding today it was doing it a ton and then died when I came to a stop light. Tried starting it a few times and the few times it would stay on, it shut down if let off the throttle.
All fluids changed a few hundred miles ago. Fresh tank of 93 gas.
Any ideas?? Thanks!

If you just installed the T-Max and things went bad, either contact them for a solution or disconnect it and see what happens. Obviously something is not "right".
Did you go through ALL the initialization process? Did you run the test up to the full 275 degrees before riding? Did you actually read ALL the instructions? Setting the tmax up the first time is time consuming but you have to do it all to get it right.

Should have clarified that better. This was an intermittent issue before the TMAX install. I would get the choke/cough at random and maybe once on a 20 minute ride. Then winter hit and haven't been riding. Thought the tuner might help a bit so put it in and ran it. Yes, I ran through the initialization and all the procedures, and did it again after installing a new battery as well. Bike ran smooth and purrs at idle at least until this happened. Don't know why the sig didn't show, must be the mobile site.
Take the Tmax out of the equation... go back to the original condition when you were having the problem, resolve it then re-install the Tmax. Go through all the connectors… throttle position, air temp, injectors, ect. You may have a bad connection some where.
