If it is between the painted deacls or plain tank I say go plain. I agree that too much denim is just plain. JMO. Maybe a airbrushed emblem, something custom you come up with. Even the pewter (sp?) bar & shield logo may look good. Regardless its a nice looking scoot!

I lean toward no badge. Somehow the placement looks off.Wonder if the badge would look better if the placement flowed more with the top of the tank instead of the bottom?

I took mine off and repainted the tank black. Mine is an '03 Anniversary bike and I thought the tank emblem was the ugliest ever made. I considered doing something with the tank and then I realised a blank tank goes with the minimalist look that I prefer.
