Alright heres the technical info you need. I have a 2011 FXDC with the stock buckhorns. I don't care for the bars.
I am interested in the WO562 CHUBBY 8" CHOPPRT T-BAR. Now heres the other info that will help you help me. Im 5'7. I dont want bars that are gonna be over my head. Im running a corbin hollywood solo seat. Im looking for shoulder height or slightly lower for the comfort. Anyone with extensive knowledge on bars or with a similier setup around my size?
I just prefer the cleaner look of the t-bar but from what i've read on the forums using the search function ect. the W0560 Low Profile Drag Bars might work as well. I just dont find them to be nearly as clean looking.
Anyways thanks for your help and time. I'm thinking being short is gonna kick me in the *** somewhere, i figure this might be it.
I have looked at the west coast bars. I dont care for the mx bars. Prefer the clean look of the regular T-bar. From the finish of the chubbies bars they also appear to be superior quality. Odviously this is just what i can tell from pictures. Not to mention the west coast charge extra for chrome or black which is a joke. thanks though.
You can always mock up T-Bars with PVC piping from your local Home Depot or Lowes. It should only cost a few dollars that way you will know what you want before you order. You'll get an idea of what they might feel like....
Thanks for the posts folks. Been a big help. Antman since your the same height does this put you in the riding position i described above? How do you like the bars for ridability, comfort, etc? How about for longer trips?
