Basic 09 Superglide... can both Highway Bars and Forward Controls be installed or will I have to use a Mustache Bar? If a Mustache Bar, any recommendations?

Interesting. That's the first time I've heard of engine guards fitting with forwards. I'll have to look into them to see if they'll also fit extended forwards.
I'd been told, by a dealer, that if I wanted Forward Controls installed on my 09 Superglide I would have to get a mustache bar because the Engine Guards would interfere.... I still get varied answers.
Wouldn't be the first time anyone got misleading info from a Dealer ya think!
There's no problem AT ALL. I have both the factory forwards and engine guard on my 2009 FXDC
as well as bar mounted driving lights and mini-floorboards..
And before your dealer starts in with more BS, the only difference between an FXD and FXDC is in
chrome and gee-wiz stuff, not the actual layout.
