How do I remove the brake rod? 09 Dyna Custom

If you're talking @ the rod between the pedal and master cylinder... there's a pin with a cotter key at the bottom of the pedal... pull the pin and unscrew the rod from the master cylinder.

I cant get the pin out that holds the rod on the break pedal. I hit it with some wd40 but no love. Any tips?

Cut it and buy a new one to reinstall

Also do not put forwards on any bike. Keep the mids. Way better performance

Loosen the jam nut at the reservior(sp?), turn 'nut' between the jam nut and the rubber boot sticking out of the res. It takes quite a bit of turning, as the threaded portion of the rod is about 1" long. Rod will swing down under exhaust

Remove two screws (5/16" Allen) holding peg mount to frame. Lift out mount, granting MUCH better access to brake rod/pedal connection.

I agree, I recently put my mids back on, much better, not sure why I wanted forwards so bad!
