Thanks for your opinions guys. I'll probably try it without the extensions one of these days. I'll have to reroute the clutch cable as well. My CC is to long and was in the way of moving the fairing any closer to the trees.

First off all, that look was arounf WAY before SOA so know your history. Second of all, Hogrida probably knows more about wrenching and customizing than you do. So get your **** straight before you start flaming!

The brackets don't support the fairing. The fairing is mounted to the headlight and the headlight is mounted to my brackets which are bolted to the stock headlight mount. if that makes sense.
The brackets are the same ones I use for tank lifts. Just a couple of pieces of stainless 1" x 1/8" bar stock with a hole in either end.
