That HPI throttle body is a work of art ... question: is it just the throttle body or did you get the manifold, too ...? As I recall having looked into it at one point, the combined cost of throttle body and manifold is somewhere around $800 - $900 all in ... is that about right ...? Is there any benefit to (can you even) use the TB with your stock manifold ....

What about fuel injectors ...? Does it come with them or do you reuse your stock injectors ...?

IIRC the SE 50mm TB comes with the manifold and injectors ....

THX for the info ....

My setup was the TB and manifold combo with injectors installed. TB and manifold were $650. I would say that there would be kind of a bottle neck with a bigger TB and a stock manifold. If youre going bigger with one, you should probably go bigger with all... Its all about matching parts that compliment each other.

Hey man NICE Build its gonna be kick *** did you dyno her yet, ... I just finished a similiar build on my Fat Bob.

107 Hillside Kit Wiseco Pistons 10.7.1
Hillside Stg 4 Heads Comp Releases
HPI 55mm TB
HPI 5.3 Injectors
Woods TW 8 Cam
SE Intake Wimmer Filter
SE Roller Rockers
Feuling Oil Pump
S&S Adj Push Rods
SE Compensator
Barnett Scorpion Clutch
Rinehart Crossbacks

I def want to do a timken bearing conversion and some H beam rods and have my crank plug and welded. I was also gonna do the cam plate too but didnt and I was gonna do Woods directional Lifters but I stayed with the Stock Harley B lifters which are really good lifter.

I went with the TTS for ecu and had her tuned she made 110HP and 116TQ thats corrected I had a Fat Cat with Big Bore Baffles but I sold it I am just more of a dual exhaust guy but with the Fat Cat the tuner said I would have def made 120TQ so you should see about those numbers bro I dont know how much flow your heads have but you will love it... I cant keep the front wheel down.. What are you using for a tuner... And also what lift is that cam your running?

Enjoy your build bro looks great here is a pic of my motor just finished her up tonight cause I was the upper and lower rocker boxes to chrome and I also added new HD Billet Chrome Lifter Covers they were $100 but they are really beefy and nice the bolts are counter sunk in so it looks real clean I also had the cylinders and heads diamond cut.

What wheels are those??

The HPI TB is beutiful bro nicest TB out there in my opinion like you said work of art well worth every penny. You get the TB and the Manifold but no injectors the injectors are $85 a peice I beleive it depends on your build if you need them or not but I would go with a 5.3 gram injector its the best TB money could buy hands down...

Thats a sick build for sure man, im hoping to get 115 on both ends... well see. The cam is .660 lift and its gonna be run right at 10.8:1. Im runnin a S.E race tuner for the fuel management... and the wheels front and rear are thunderstar (textured black) with matching rotors and pulley. Havent had her dyno'd yet, still waitin on paint actually... should be back this week. Hopefully dyno'd by the end of next week or a little after. Ill have alot more pics and numbers posted by mid month.

Are you still running spokes front and rear?? how they holding up??
