That's a very honorable thing you have done for your Uncle. The flying Tiger theme on your bike is just awesome to me! I know also that all those associated with the AVG back in those days were true Heros for sure! Great pictures. Way cool man!

Love the bike! Great paint and purpose! I think that I'd paint the headlight housing green. Looks good the way it is though.

Thanks everyone for the compliments. This is the third bike that I've had painted by Danny Bally. The guy is a true artist. Not only that, but a professional to deal with, which is hard to find in Albuquerque.

My uncle was actually a crewman on a C-47. They flew mostly resupply missions, and did a few paratrooper drops in New Guinea. They also supplied Filipino guerrillas.

When I was a kid and found out that he was in the War, my dad told me not to ever talk to him about it, cause he doesn't do that. About ten years ago I got up my nerve and asked my uncle about it anyway, and it turned out that he was happy to talk about it. I was glad I did.
