Finally got to take it for a spin yesterday. I must say, I like it. Idle is a little lower. V&H Big Radius 2-1's are quieter @ idle and roar when you crack the throttle even a little. Throttle response on take off has vastly improved.
I'm running map 715 with my 107 kit and wood 555 cams and lifters, I set my idle at 800 and did the IAC auto, and I've not had a problem. I have a dakota digital speedo and I can watch the volt output and it doesnt drop at idle, also i have an email from zippers stating they do not recommend setting idle below 740, due to possible charging issues and oil issues.
Im also looking into buying a Tmax for my fat bob but not sure what one to purchase.I was thinking of the Tmax EFI A/T 309-360 but some places im looking to purchase from say this model is CARB compliant california model others dont are there two types of EFI.I thought the Tmax50 was the CARB model?whats the best type for a stage1. cheers
