Hello everyone, I recently bought my first bike and o7 Street Bob. I've been reading up and doing searches for previous exhaust discussions but have come up with very little. Can you tell me what pipes are available for my bike. I really like the looks of the 2-1 Rinehart but don't know if it's available now.
I put on Python 2 into 1 on my 07 Dyna. $375 shipped through Eastern Performance. Love em' . Mot too loud at idle or cruise but screams under hard accelleration.
You can bolt any '05 exhaust system onto the '07 without a problem. Since the exhaust ports are better, it should perform even better.
The differance between '07 and '05 is the O2 sensors, and the oil filler neck. You or your local muffle shop can weld sensor bungs in to any exhasut pipe for any machine. Simple procedure. I've done it on my car, but it'snot pretty. For something visible I'd take it to a pro.
The oil filler neck could be a problem, but I'm not sure. Some pipes look like they have a bend in that area that might obstruct the filler. Someone here mentioned the 2-1 Rhineharts are not a problem. Not sure about others. Check that out before you buy.
