Low Speed Bike Drop
Hey guys/gals,
A few weekends ago the fiancee dropped her 2009 Street Bob during a slow speed u-turn trying to park.
It fell on the left side and bent the clutch lever and scratched the derby cover.
She did the right thing in trying to set it down nicely and still getting out of the way safely.
I'm noticing a squeak in the rear suspension after the drop. Any ideas what this could be? It sounds like it's coming from the top bolt of the shock.
The bike still rides straight and it doesn't appear to be leaking any fluids nor does the engine/trans sound different or shift any differently.
I'm going to pick up a new clutch lever and take it by our friend to put it back together.
The bike still feels rideable and the clutch lever isn't bent to where it's unusable, hell you don't even notice it's bent while riding.
Any ideas on the squeaky rear suspension, or something else I should be looking at to make sure more damage wasn't done?
