I have the Python staggered duals and they are some killer sounding pipes. I get complements on the sound of my bike all the time.

OD... They shop I ordered my pipes from is installing them on a 2010 Street Bob this week. They want me to stop down to hear them before I put them on my bike. I'll take a pic and post.

What is the purpose of wrapped pipes? Is it just for looks? Not trying to make anyone mad, I like them, but haven't seen that look too much in KY.

What happens when the wrapped pipes get wet? Do the pipes corrode faster?

these should be good pipes , they are made by vance and hines for python/drag specialties. I have heard mixed reviews on wrapping pipes. some claim that because it holds in the heat that it weakens the metal in the header pipes. I haven't wrapped my pipes in years so I don't know how accurate that statement is.

Default Here are pics ...

The shop where I ordered my Throwbacks from installed these on a Street Bob today. Here are the pics. Wish there was a pic of what they looked like on my Fat Bob but I guess it's good that there are none out there yet.

RRose: really like the way the black denim finish and grey exhaust wrap contrast. Nice!
