Congratulations and welcome aboard! As far the windshield (or fairing), I don't a have a clue. As I don't want one (if I need one I'll just ride my Goldwing) I haven't researched where the best price is or the best one. Good luck in your search.

Well at the Tulsa dealer they want 350 for a detachable windshield is that too high for one? It seemed high to me.

And i'm curious if they make a fairing for the bike

Here's a sport shield

Here's a quarter fairing

It would be easier to help if we knew exactly what you are looking for .

I'm not sure exactly what i want, something like this would be nice but do they make them for a Super Glide I can't seem to find anything for sure. Does a fairing hamper your vision versus a windshield?

You will find that most people here don't like a shield when they ride to a coffee shop. I got the touring shield with QD's and cut it down. The nice thing is it is easy to cut down and file to clean up and depending on the weather you can raise or drop it 3 inches. Checkout This site for a good fare price. http://www.chicagoharley.com/shop/
