If you really want a shield just get a HD 14inch... Mine works great and its not overly huge looking. Your going to pay for it however... Welcome to the world of HD.

 

Inexpensive windshield or fairing? As far as windshields, the classified section here followed by Amazon or Ebay. My experience has been that there is nothing inexpensive in regards to windshields or fairings. I hated to do it, but I just broke down and bought a windshield (17" Memphis Fats) for an upcoming 800+ mile trip. Happy hunting.
