I have an 04 SG FXD. My brothers buddy has a set of triple trees that my 39mm forks fit into that make my front end a wide glide front end. My question is I dont know what to offer him for them he said to give him what i think they are worth but I have no idea. They are used but in good shape. If I do buy them what all will I have to change? Thanks for your help.

A new one will probably run close to $200. If you want it, make a lowball offer like fixxr said. Just changed out mine and it really depends what you want. I wanted the fat tire, so had to buy a wheel, tire and fender. You won't have to swap the rotor, but you will have to figure out how to move the caliper if you keep the skinny tire. The difference in the 49mm narrow and wide is only 1". Go take a look at the Dyna WG and see how it's mounted. My wheel is a little off center and I've gotta figure that out.
Axle and new spacers are a given. Spacers for the fender or a WG fender. If you e-bay a new wheel, make sure you are getting the correct axle size. The 1" and 25mm wheels will interchange by changing the bearings, but the 3/4 won't work on the larger axles, even if you swap bearings.
