I have tried several different seats, but now have 3 Mustang seats. A daytripper for local solo riding, a Wide vintage for solo road trips, and a super touring wide vintage for 2up riding.
The wide vintage is by far the most comfortable for long days in the saddle that I have ever spent time in.

Another vote for the Mustang Vintage. I have the standard width 2up. I can ride all day with no complaints about comfort.

best way to go is buy the seat with a backrest now, or you will regret it later.went thru 4 seats before the backrest .now have a mustang solo with backrest.stays on the bike all the time.if you want to take the backrest off for short rides it takes about 2 seconds

Well I will recommend Corbin as thegrant has. I had a Mustang Vintage Wide and really disliked it. Gave me discomfort and hated the squishy feeling.

I guess it boils down to whether you find comfort in "firm" or "soft." The stock Fat Bob seat was too soft for me, the Mustang even more so. I have a Corbin Dual Tour, and two Corbin Classic Solo seats (one with the backrest hardware, one without the backrest hardware installed, which I'll probably sell). All these seats are refreshingly comfortable and high high quality in build and materials. They're expensive, but for me they're worht it. I'll be using Corbin on my bike from now on.

Absolutely. Corbin's are expensive but once you get one you will ask yourself why you threw so much away on cheaper seats in the past. I will always use Corbin. I ride all day on my Hollywood solo without any pain and could never do that on my Mustang.

+1 on the Corbin Dual Tour. Although I am looking into adding the backrest.

Forget about Saddleman. Bought the 2up with backrest. Said it could take up to 1000 mi. for it to break in. Gone well beyond that. Still hard as a rock. Harder than stock seat. Backrest is nice. Looks good. Made well. Too bad comfort level sucks.

Its not the best looking seat out there but the Sundowner 2 up seat is very comfortable & inexpensive.
