I've been reading that alot but what about the rear tire size from my understanding 160/70 looks skinny.

I put these on my bike last Wednesday and have already logged over 1500 miles on them and they are a million times better then the stockers I pulled off. Now to find out if I can get 13000 out of them like I did with the stock tires! I was amazed that I got one good year out of those tires, hopefully the Metzelers will do the same.

And that's a 160/70 in my sig!

I have a friend who absolutely loves his new tires. I've never heard of them. Mitchalynn.

Seriously, I've yet to hear or read anything good about the stock Dunlop tires. I'll have to look into the Metzeler tires when the time comes. Lots of good reviews on those, everywhere I look.

I have been using the Metzelers ME880s for years on my Indian Scout, great handling but only seem to get 8-9k miles on a back tire. On my Ultra Classic, I was going through them about every 6k miles. Now I am running Dunlop E3s on the Ultra and so far after 7k miles on it, still in great shape and handle well.

I've got the me880 on the front only and it is an improvement over the stock Dunlop. When the rear goes this summer I wont hesitate to put the 880 on the rear. I have used Metzler in the past and they were always a premium tire. Have had good results with pireli,Conti and Dunlop in the past.

I can't help you with what tire to run, cause I'm still running the dunlops, but I can tell you to go to Jakewilson.com for your purchase and you will save a ton of money. shipped to your door for a lot less than anyone I have found.

Avon Venom/Storm 2 Ultra are great tires, and they will probably be my next set. I also have good experience with the Michelin Scorchers that came stock on my bike.
