I've been looking at the Pythons as well and from with the parts guy is telling me you do not need a tune with them. Now I haven't discussed the baffles and all that but hes telling me that I can simply bolt them on and go.

I just switched from Screamin' Eagle Slip-ons to Python3 slip-ons. I'm getting decel pops and backfires through the pipes when I let off the throttle. The mufflers sound great, though. I have a K&N heavy breather and a PCV tuned for the bike that I'm waiting for a rainy day to install and that should solve the problem. As far as the baffles in the Python3, if you're not looking for them, it's easy to miss them.
