Whats the load of the acc.? If it's to large, you'll need a fused relay controled from the Acc. or light terminal on the ignition.

If your ign switch is mounted on the front right frame at the steering head, there is a plastic cover over the wiring on the under side, right under the switch, that you can pull off. Fish out the wire bundles and look for the bundle going to the switch. Inside this bundle will be 3 wires, a red one, a red/grey and a red/black. The red is hot all the time, the red/grey is hot in either acc or ign and the red/black only hot with the key turned to ign.

These 3 wires are inside a plastic sheath that you will have to slice open.

You might be able to locate the wires somewhere else, but this is where the acc wires originate. Check your wiring diagram to find other locations.

That's the connector I used for a power outlet that I mounted to the bottom of the battery box.
The power lead has a 15 amp fuse.
The connector is under the seat.
I had a male & female 2 pin connector laying' around so I took the 4 pin Customer Accessory Connector apart, shrunk shrink wrap over each terminal on wires 2 & 3, folded them back and insulated/secured them with a piece of shrink wrap over the other two wires... I was then able to use wires 1 & 4.
I have no idea what the single hot wire labeled 'P&A Battery' is for, I didn't use it because it's hot all the time.

If you decide to use the 4 pin connector you can get the other end for it from:
