Seems I have a slow leak in the back tire of my bike. I fill it up to 40lbs and in about seven days of sitting it will be at about 10lbs. Do they patch bike tires? Sorry I have no clue if that even safe.
It's a mag wheel not a spoked. I do believe the mags have no tubes am I correct? It's actually my wifes 06 883 with the stock mags on it. I did not check the valve stem. That would cause it to leak?

If it won't hold air then it's leaking.
Squirt some soapy water on it... and then on the rest of the tire, especially where it meets the 'mag' wheel (that's where the 'bead' is).
The valve stem has a thick rubber washer on the inside of the wheel and a metal washer / nut on the out side. If you get bubbles around the out side of the valve stem tighten the nut a little. Not gorilla tight, just monkey tight. Add a secound nut (if there's only one) as a lock nut. If there's already two nuts... un-lock em, tighten & re-lock em.
If bubbles appear from the center / inside of the valve stem tighten the valve stem core. If it’s already tight replace it (the valve stem core).
Had the same problem. Filled the bathtub up with water, set the tire/wheel in the water, saw bubbles coming from the bead area. Let all the air out of the tire, checked the bead area and found a bunch of "debris" in the area of the leak. Probably came from a crappy tire change the last time I had tires put on at the local bike shop.
