I would have liked my windshield to be a little darker but it was a great deal and I couldn't pass it up.I was thinking about having the inside of the windshield tinted,do you guys and girls think this will work?
Inside maybe - certainly not outside due to bug / rock impacts.
Just my opinion, but a tinted windshield looks good on the bike when it's sitting still. There are times though, when it's dark and cold, or when you're riding through rain or hail, that you'll want to flatten yourself out and duck behind the shield for protection while you ride. During those times, I've found a clear shield to be best because I can see through it a lot easier.
You can spray paint the inside of your windshield. I used to do it on snow mobiles. They even make transparent spray paint, so you could get a transparent black and get a tinted shield for the cost of a can of spray paint.

if you dont have experience with spray painting ****, i'd be real hesitant to paint a windshield. any overlap in the paint will create darker areas which will annoy the hell out of you. might want to practice on scrap plexi to get an idea of what you're up against.
although spraying sounds like it would be the most durable I think my skills as a painter are very limited and I don't want to ruin a very nice windshield.I'm going to try a local shop that does custom tint.Pictures will follow.
