the deflectors were salvaged from my chrome lowers...the vibes caused them to crack so I just cut them down to use as the mount. I cut out some plexi and cleaned up the cuts. They work well, but I thought about making a set that is bigger for cold weather....we'll see since i like how they turned out.
nice man!!! ya mine cracked as well... i actually pulled them off and made mounts for them and bolted them to my sport touring with back plates on the area that cracked to support it... plus with the fork brace theyd id not work on mine any more. i like the idea of the plexi glass i may follow suit on that so i can make them cut out for around my brace..
but they are nice on the sport touring!
they are awesome in the winter (i ride this bike year round to the shop and office)
