Cooler Overkill?

I rode my 2010 WG 300 miles too Thunder Beach and then in stop and go traffic for 4 days in 80-90 degree weather. The bike got very hot (thunderheader melted the sole on my wifes right shoe) but it never went into safe/protection mode.

Hello All, I'm thinking you're headed in the right direction getting your Wideglide remapped. Air cooled is a mis-nomer for an "air cooled" engine, Excess of 50% of the cooling comes from fuel mixture and oil. If you're running lean, it would not only run hot, it could be damaging to your top end.
