I have a 2011 super glide custom with the new HD Gauge 70900070 which is great. But at night with the gauge on dim, my favorite colors show up on the windshield.
I would like to have a part number for a Visor for the gauge. Something chrome and simple, no fancy crap. If anyone has an idea, or know for sure of something that will fit let me know. But I have to shop online so we need to make sure it will fit.
You've got a sweet ride and a great gauge!
HD does show a chrome "eyebrow" visor for the 4-5/8" (5") gauge, part #74661-04.
But as it just barely covers the top portion of the gauge, reflections on the windshield at night will most likely continue to be a problem.
Other than maybe adjusting the tilt of the windshield or changing to darker guage dial colors, not sure what other fixes are available to
cut down those reflections. Hope you can work something out.
