Default Clutch Slipped

Riding yesterday after a 220 mile ride and all most home had to stop at A light went to take off and clutch slipped in first gear taking off. It was about 98 degrees felt like 120 squeezed the clutch in and released it and it grabbed. What would make is slip? What to look for? According to the manual its adjusted correct

By adjusted correctly, are you talking about the cable =free play in lever. Or the clutch pack adjustment? Need to be sure both are correct.

How many miles are on it? What type of oil are you using in the primary? When was the last time the clutch was adjusted behind the derby cover?
