ok, so i really dont know why guys but i'm really diggin' some mini apes. i'm thinking something along the lines of 8" or 10" Road6 Z bars like this:
here is my question, on my '08 Super Glide...will i need to go with longer cables or will my stock ones reach? i'm mainly leaning towards the 8", especially if stock cabling can reach. if it cant i'll probably go with 10" but idk yet... i'm still in the thinking/planning mode... oh yeah, i'll be using my stock risers
Your stock cables should reach fine, wiring should reach just fine too. You will have to adjust the idle, throttle, and clutch cable after assembly finished. But hell you might wanna replace them just get a better look, like the black diamond cables. The road6 bars are good bars I have installed them on a couple of bikes. They look like the RSD short stacks, just a hell of alot cheaper. They are real easy to internally wire. One note, after installation complete, those four covers that close the open ends of the bars, permatex them or glue them, cause they will come out when you are flying down the road
