Agreed! I do clean the bike now and again but it's a rider not a show piece. I do more damage with rock chips, wear marks from the seat and jeans and scuffs from tying stuff on the rack then I ever will with cleaning products. I guess I'm just not that emotionally attached to the bike, it's just transportation and a toy.

Distilled water rinse on the hard to reach areas before the dry helps reduce water spots.

i agree! besides... this is my first bike so it goes without saying that i have already f*cked my paintjob! but every once in a while i do a very deep cleaning where i actually pull parts and get in as many of the nooks and crannies as possible. (im single, im enlisted, i live in the barracks)

I try to keep mine clean!



It's all the little hard to reach places that can be a drag! But then most times you the owner are the only who notices!:-)
