Its the newest tuner from dynojet (like a Power Commander). It will stay mounted till I am content with my tune. It flashs the ECM then you can remove it unlike the PCIII & PCV.
Yes it is Water Proof or should I say water resistant.
It monitors more things then I could ever need to know. Heres a few that I use:
MAP
Engine Temp
Warm-up AFR or Lambda
TP
RPM
VE New Front
VE New Rear
Lambda 1
Lambda 2
Accel Enrich
Spark Knock F
Spark Knock R
Spark Advance Front
Spark Advance Rear
Set AFR table (Lambda/Stoich)
One thing I didn't see on the dynojet site is whether the device VIN-locks once installed. Meaning, as soon as you install it, it reads the VIN from the ECM and will then marry itself to that VIN forever so you can't move it from bike to bike.
Yea Vic, the PV locks to the VIN, just like every other flash based tuner out there. DynoJet may offer a multi use license (for a few dollars more) to run one tuner on 2 bikes, don't remember which flash tuner offered this.

Yes it will marry to your ECM and can only flash the ECM it is married too. But can be used as a logger or to read/clear engine codes on any delphi Harley.
