Been having some issues with my steering head fork lock, key getting stuck even after easing up/wiggle on or at the left turn stop), key tip slots not lining up, tumblers sticking??, I did grind the key top tip off and it then allows to get the slots re-aligned, but when using the original factory master key, it still tends to be hanging up, not smooth lock-unlock action like it should be?
I've used Dri-Slide with graphite and Lock Ease but neither seems to smooth it out, I got stuck 'once' not be able to unlock (fortunately within walikng distance of home), I'm going to just replace the whole assembly and be done with it...tired of phuckin' with it. How much is involved? Does the whole fork/steering tube need to come out?
need a part# also, unable to find.

My **** Ignition switch is P/N 71532-03. I don't think they changed them. Ther is a button on the bottom of the **** on the left side of the fat side of the triangle.
My SM says:
Remove MAXI FUSE.
Put the key in and turn key to unlock and leave the key in the key hole.
Turn the forks to the left fork stop and rotate the **** to the Fork Lock position.
Depress the button on the bottom with a small screwdriver, push key down and turn 60 degrees CC.
Lift and remove ****. There is a spring under it that will drop out.
