sorry guys i have not been around, got a piece of metal lodged in my eye in the shop last week and just got out of surgery on Wed to have it removed... it is a mess! Will never forget safety glasses that is for sure... what a mess!

I know a lot of us get casual with stuff like safety glasses. It sucks that it takes an injury to remind you. Heal quickly, man.

Hey Pro, sorry to hear this happen - wishing you a speedy recovery and hopes for 100% healing and clarity of vision. Pretty sobering reminder about taking all the proper precautions when working in the shop or garage....

Joe feel better soon, eye injuries suck big time, a few years ago i got some rusty sh*t in my eye that some how got trapped under my eye lid and would scratch by eye every time i would blink! it hurt like hell! in the back of my mind i can hear my 11th grade shop teacher yelling about safety glasses!
