Sounds like you are like me! Love the choppers and the 'bob look. I need about 3 bikes to be happy lol but settled on a Superglide. I had to have a bike that COULD ride 2up, handle decent, and go on a longer ride with some comfort. A chopper has limited use IMOP...but very cool around town.
Just find a good deal on one you like. Then, you can do anything to it.

I'm trying to save money and know that 'doing things' will take lots of extra cash...so whatever I can get 'done' stock is what I'm going for.

Do you think the wide glide has that capability? It seems very similar in design to the super glide.
I also had a VN750. Actually two over the years. Made the step up to an 06 Wide Glide. I found it had similar handling characteristics, just heavier & a LOT more room. Your best bet would be to ride each & see what feels best to you

Yeah that's the plan.
By 'a LOT more room' do you mean the wheel base/size of the bike, or more room as seat room and riding comfort?
