I just bought a 07 dyna street bob for the wife and it has forwards. Bought her a new reach seat and floorboards but still can't reach the pedals well, so I'm thinking of changing out the forwards for mids.
My question is does one of you guy have a take-off that I can buy?

You said the bike has forward controls.....then you said you're thinking of changing out the mid controls for forward controls. So, what "take-off" are you looking for?
If your going to Mids from forwards, it's not just the controls you will need, it is also the inner primary.
Why would you need an inner primary? I just swapped mine back to mids, bought a full set off egay for 17 bucks with shipping included. Picked up a gasket set from the dealer and called it a day. Not to difficult at all. Best part is you can put your forwards up for sale and pay for the swap that way. Or just give them to a friend who might want some. Then he or she will owe you.

It depends on your model. If you bike came originally as a mid and someone changed to forward then, hell ya its easy. But if it cam from the factory with forwards, you will need to change out the inner and out primary covers as that is how you route the shifter.

He said it was a 07 Street Bob...I think all Street Bobs came with mids, I have an 07 and it came with mids...
for models that came with mids its a simple swap back to the mid controls. I always swap mine back when I get a bike that has been modified like that and then use mids and hwy pegs from HD . Get the adjustable hwy pegs and you should be fine. I have the same problems with fwd controls . My legs and feet just do not reach well.
It mainly depends on if the person that changed out the mid for forwards the first time also remove the shift linkage that runs through the primary. If they did then the next question is, did they swap out the primary cover or did they leave the orginal and plug the hole. If the change the cover then you need another cover and the linkage, if the orginal cover is there then you just need to add the linkage (full primary pull to install). If they left the linkage, then you are in luck and all you need to do is get the mid mounts, shift lever and brake lever.
