Default New Shocks

Just put on a new set of Progressive 412 HD shocks - wow, what a difference! I don't know if the old OEM's were that bad or if these are just that much better. I don't slam over the bumps anymore - my spine is breathing a sigh of relief!!(Not to mention my ****!)

Great to hear guys!

If you have not already, we recommend the fork spring kit, will clean up front end wallow and help eliminate brake dive as well as far better bottoming control. An inexpensive and relatively easy to install part, too.

Based upon that review, I would warrant that he did.

Yeah - took 12" off and replaced with 12". Thanks to "Progressive Suspension" for the tip on the fork spring kit. I'll be looking into it!

Just for balance...

I recently put some 412s on my Fat Bob and found them to be poor. No matter what settings they were on they either bottomed out or rode very hard. Seemed to be no middle ground. Went back to the stock shocks until I find something better.

Serves me right for not getting some Hagons in the first place - best shocks made. Just thought I'd try the Progressives as they seem to sell well in the US. Lesson learnt.

Were these the 12"s? Standard or HD?

12" standard, don't weigh enough to need HD.
