Serves me right for not getting some Hagons in the first place - best shocks made. Just thought I'd try the Progressives as they seem to sell well in the US. Lesson learnt.
Yeah, sure thing. Keep telling yourself that and maybe you'll believe it. Ohlins, Ricors and High end Progressives are just as good and in many respect far superior to your whoop-de-do Hagons. You don't like 412's, spend some real money on quality suspension and you'll see the difference.

Hey, I'm willing to agree with you regarding "High end Progressives" but I wasn't talking about them, I was talking about 412s, like the other people were.

So need for the attitude.
Hey, no attitude at all, said with a smile. You said Hagons were the "best shocks made". I simply beg to differ
I don't think the progressives are bad shocks, even in the 412 series. The real problem is what people expect out of them. If someone says they put a set on and like the ride, then their expectations were most likely reasonable. If someone says the 412s suck, well then they were probably expecting a $600 dollar ride out of a $200 dollar shock. I just put a set of 412hd 11" on my wide glide and you don't hear me complaining. I knew what I was getting when I bought 'em.
