Jets and Bigger Jets
Took my Dyna in for its 5k checkup. Advised him that the Dyna also was periodically spitting back when it was sorta cold. I always warm it up sufficiently but the spit was occuring during riding sometimes. I had changed from the factory filter to a K&N (just because) and noticed that the factory filter was detiorating on the rubber ring. He said a bike with only 5k on it that was abnormal. It appears that gas must have been what was burping up. He had the tech check and it appears that MoCo had a recent bullentin come out about the injectors on the Dynas. The factory jets are too small (he quoted a size but hell, I am no techey) anyway, he said MoCo was suggesting that anyone having the problem should change from the factory injectors to the same injectors that are used on the screaming eagle setup. He said that I will see suitable performance increase after the upgrade. So, if you are having a simular issue, take it in and let them check it out..
