Just got back from the Black hills
Just had a great week riding from Missouri to the Black Hills and back. 2300 miles in a week. Saw the monuments, scenery, towns, etc. Great vacation. Highly recommend the Iron Mountain Road and the Spearfish Canyon road. Woke up one morning at 7000 feet outside of Lead and it was 38 degrees. Riding across Nebraska, however, seemed a bit long. Grand Island was 105 degrees, as was Sainas, KS. The Fat Bob never missed a beat the whole way. The new Metzler 880s performed flawlessly. Great times.

Great to hear the bike ran great in all the different temperatures. I have yet to ride my SB in weather over 90 and I have been wondering about it . thank you for the post. I have been thinking of riding over that way when sturgis is not going on.
