Well fellas ... I finally broke down and ordered a set of mini-apes and cables today. I tried risers and all that jazz and nothing was working out for comfort, so I got the chrome Mini's and stock BoB lines and cables on the way. I suspect all will be here within a week or so. I may try and use the 3.5 straight risers I bought a while back as well .... just have to wait and see on that one. I'm now in that frenzied state of waiting on "Brown" to get my early Christmas here!!

While you're waiting, I also highly recommend picking up some poly riser bushings, if you don't already have them...
Consider these essential! Good advice from hd_sob.
That "waiting on Brown" could be some cute way to politely say you're constipated but it's actually WORSE. It's a feeling that almost everyone here can relate to. I had to wait for that my springer crate to travel from Texas to Florida and then I had to go to a freight terminal to pick it up. I'd like to think maybe next time I have to wait for UPS, it'll be a little easier compared to that . . .but who am I kidding? I have a hard time waiting for something I have overnighted!
It'll be worth the wait and of course be sure to post some pictures when you are done.
Riser bushings are going as well. The stock ones are crapola .... they were obviously worn with just the higher risers on the bike. Am looking forward to getting this thing together. I rode a 400 mile day 2 weeks ago and it was more than I could stand .... what's a few more $$$ when you got 12K plus in bike that you cant be comfortable riding. Never mind the fact that the ScooT will look so much better.
I do have one question though ..... think I can get an extra 1.5" out of the stock BoB brake line? I'd really like to keep my chrome 3.5 risers.

You can get a bit more by straightening the hard line coming out of the reservoir, but not sure if you can get that much...
Not bid deal on the brake line .... will just go back with the stock risers. Once everything gets back together I'll get a pic up. Because of the wiring needing to be extended I'm not going to tackle this one myself .... will get the work done locally.
