can anyone tell me what is the best fuel tuner for my 2011 wideglide i have slipons on it now and i want to open up the air cleaner but i dont want to go to my dealer for the harley download?
my dealer wants 250.00 to remap and 320.00 for the air cleaner i want. they tell me that i can't install my air cleaner myself than bring the bike there is that true or are they blowing smoke up my a$$?
Don't get the harley download. It is EPA approved and won't add enough fuel (if any)
It all depends how much your going to do to your bike. Where do you want to be?
Check out Fuel Moto and talk to Jamie great service, my bike runs great.
Yes!
For the money HD wants, you can get the Power Commander V with an Auto Tune module and wide band o2 sensors.
Or you can get the Power Vision and not have any add on stuff, just plug it into the diagnostic port, load it to the Delphi module, unplug it, and ride.
Both the PC-V and the Power Vision accept the Auto Tune option, should you want the bike to "tune itself" as you ride.
Tell the guys at Fuel Moto which air cleaner and pipes (and/or other mods) you have, and they'll map it for you before it ships so it's just plug and play. Fuel Moto has the absolute best prices and service, twice the warranty of the manufacturer, and they're a HD Forums sponsors. You can't lose.
I didn't no much about tuning my bike and was not sure what to do so I contact Jamie at fuel moto and he made it so simple. Bought the power vision and could not be happier. Like I said great service even all the way over to Australia.
thyanks everyone im going to look into fuel moto.
as for where i want to be, i want to pull the most out of my stock 96 as poss
I'm assuming that you mean the most power. Personally, I was shooting for a good balance of power, streetability, and fuel efficiency (not necessarily maximum mpg numbers).
Make sure you're clear with them on exactly what you want out of the tune, when you place your order, as "pull the most" can be interpreted in different ways.
