HaHa..i'll bet they do...i'm going to put it up on the jack and mess with it...have you ever heard of anyone disassembling these covered shocks and powdercoating the covers?

I believe I have at least 1" of slump maybe slightly more. I just want to raise it so it doesn't drag so damn much. I think you can see from the sig pic how low it is.

these shocks are for heavier riders, i think they are rated at a normal range of 200lb solo, mine are up almost all the way i dont weigh 200 but i need to take them down a click or two... they are great shocks when you get them adjusted.

**yours might have lowering blocks on them also

Might be shorter than stock to deliberately lower the bike. The Progressive site lists the stock length of shocks for the various HD models. You would need to whip one of the shocks off and measure the eye-to-eye length to compare.

If they are short then there's nothing much you can do, they will need replacing. Personally I wouldn't suggest getting 412s again. They are entry-level shocks that are little or no better than stock.
