Hey guys, I havent forgot about this thread. Im still waiting for it to be finished. Supposedly their was something wrong with the tranny when it got rebuilt. Its whatever,I think that I couldve built a bike from scratch by now. Here is a bike of how it sits now. Pretty much the only thing that I want to add now is a seat and headlight, then finish it off with some chrome.
I forgot about this thread. Bike is looking good with tins back on and wheels really look great on there. Great paint job!
Here is where I’m at now. It was a awesome feeling being able to ride it after so long. Last semester I went home once, but this will be the third weekend in a row that Im going home so I can ride. I rode for several hours this past weekend, even took it out on some back roads for some dirt tracking action. Having a 700 pound motorcycle sideways is a feeling that everyone should at least once. I have the front fender hanging on my wall here at school so thats why it isn’t on there at the moment. I thought that it was almost complete, but now Im looking into having several pieces diamond coated.
The paint job looks great, but I have one subtle suggestion. A green pinstripe between the orange and black on the rims as an accent. I wish I had the talent for paint like you do, you do excellent work.
