If the floorboards will retro fit my 2011 street bob I will be getting a set. its really the only thing I miss about my last bike. Dynas rule!!
Just got done looking at one in the dealership. Those floorboards will bolt right onto any 2006+ Dyna. Very good design. Although the triple tree appears to be a 41mm version of the Fat Bob trees, any FL Softail front fender will fit if you like something different as will a 16 inch wheel if that is your thing. Other than the cowbells, I think the headlight tins will fit a Fat Bob, not sure though.
It's much better looking in person and I think it will fill a hole most people didn't think existed.
Not acknowledging the 103 was a bit of a duh moment by the OP
Some things are lost in translation I guess. It costs the MoCo exactly nothing to build a 103 vs. the 96. And that really is my whole point. Sure, retrofitting those parts is going to cost more and that's definitely part of the Corp. strategy.
Delete the chrome (expensive) on the motor, add the bags and windshield, oh yea, and the running boards... swap one FL front end for a Dyna front end (at the factory) and charge an extra 3 thou. Good idea!

I know one thing, they wont fit any Dyna with Mid Controls without extensive modification. I guarantee that if it were that easy to retro fit floorboards on Dyna's with forwards, all the aftermarket parts dealers like Kury/ kirk/ JP etc would have offered them. I looked for 3 YEARS to find floorboards for my bike....... and NOTHING. Not only nothing for Dyna's with mids, but Dyna's with forwards. So I would really check things out before you run out and buy a pair. Just my opinion
$296.
As for the new FLD........ Although it's a Dyna, it's also a Softail. Hardbags color matched will run ya at least $1200. How much for a 7' or bigger headlight? Floorboards another $300? Larger front tire...... and the 103 and windshiels run around$295. Prices have gone up for all aspects of production......so I'm surprised it doesn't cost more.

Just curious, since they came out only 2 days ago how did you come across this fact?
