I just put Big Sucker on with V&H slipon's and the bike seems to be running pretty good in higher RPM's, but I'm concerned about it running hot. It's been over 100 degrees here every day for a month or more and heat is an issue.
I'm still learning the SEPST software, but was wondering if flashing to the basic stage one map is a good idea even though I won't be doing a lot of tuning for a few weeks.
Yup , that's exactly what you need to do. It will be 90% right out of the box and you can follow up with some Smartune or a dyno tune when you get a chance.
I'm familiar with that thread, but this forum is more active and that thread is 59 pages long. It would be better if there was a SEPST sub forum for SEPST specifics instead of piling it all into one thread.
I am reading that thread, but only on page 9 or so right now.
I hear ya. I have been reading the TTS Mastertune section and i am going page by page. But i will tell ya. I posted something and i have had a few answer right away. Thats on the TTS section.
Well, flashed the basic stage 1 map last night. First impression is it sounds better. Not so high strung sounding. But, it doesn't seem to rev as fast as it did before. I'll definitely need to start tuning it now. Was just concerned about the heat and my impression is it's running cooler now.
