Pre-'06 Dyna Front Ends
I would like to know how expensive/difficult it is to rake the front end on a pre '06 Super Glide. These bikes are readily available in the used market and are very affordable, I just don't like the lack of rake in the front ends. I'm not thinking of anything too radical, just 4 or 5 more degrees of rake. I was wondering if this could be accomplished by just adding a set of raked trees and a longer front end or if it is more involved than that. I would love to hear any comments and see any pics of bikes that have had similar mods to what I'm talking about.

you have to watch the ballance between rake and trail, very critical to handling

Thanks for the link. I have been reading online about raked trees and I don't think that they are the way to go unless you have a fork rake in excess of 40 degrees. I wonder how expensive it would be to have a machine shop rake the neck for me if I removed the gas tank and front end?
