I have a windshield for my 06 Bob and I use it during the two or three cold months we have down here (Jan-Mar). This is the first bike I ever had with a windshield. I never thought I'd want one but during the cold months and on very long rides, they do make it more comfortable.

I use a Kuryakyn Grand Roll handlebar bagon my 07 WG. Itblocks a lot of wind plus gives me a place to carry stuff. I still have the wind in my face but don't get near as much hitting my body. Big difference.

I'll let you know how it is as soon as it gets here.

With that said, I could give a crap what anyone says about putting a windshiled on a bike making you a kitty, or they dont belong on this model or that model.

They are probablly the folks that put on a whole 1000 miles a riding season (if they can) Never mind ever ride in the rain/snow.

look when are you going to get it

Its not all about you and what YOU like its about whoever owns the bike and what THEY like. What/who gives you the right to judge someone else?

Get off the Beaten Path once and awhile and Enjoy the Ride, Sheeple

Yeah, Windvest for me too. Although I agree the bike looks cleaner, sleeker and all that with it off. But for the little extra comfort I get at highway speeds, I just kinda' duck behind the windshield when I see somebody give me that look that says "Oh, that windshield on your Harley really makes you look like a fool". You know the look.........Oh, and I hate that I don't get as many waves from other biker dudes, Yeah that really keeps me up at night.[8D]

I got a HD quick release for my first road trip, was worth the investment. But for cruising locally it comes off and gets stored in the garage.

No windshield for me, I simply don't need one as I run afull face and leather jacket with layers when it gets cold.

I don't really like the look of the Windshields, but to each his own of course.

I have a detachable tha I bought for PGR missions that happen in bad weather and weeklong trips when I dont know what the weather is going to be like. But I hate it.I like thewind andan ocational bug in the face. Also it seems to funnle air up from the bottem and make my glasses vibrate. The best way to explain is
"I know why dogsput their head out the car window."
