ooh trust me... we where out last night with some guys all on trick st glides... Chad just got one as well... his dyna is in for dyno getting tuned for the NOS and bore he did... so we all went out bagged up... one of the guys had the lowers i would go with, but the problem is i mounted my oil cooler very high on my frame to the top mount, as well as that is the damper mount location... so i have to get creative... before i got crash bars i am going to flip to some floor boards and see how that puts me. i think the main reason i want them is to take some old headlight buckets and make them into 5.25 round speakers! hahahaha but we will see maybe this winter i will get creative wiht the pipe bender but till then i am going to rock the floor boards. ill post up a review when i get them in and coated. thanks for the love guys!
ROn you are alot like me man, got ot have a bike that has many faces! hahah love how you have your deal flash like that in your sig. after all is said and done i may have ot take some pics and send it your way again! hahahah still doing sigs?

Now you just need to fab up a detachable engine guard or maybe a mustache bar that matches the handlebar to kick your feet up on those long trips. Can only imagine what you'd come up with...

Joe, what about a backrest for you? Can you change the mount to have the tour pack at your back when you tour alone (without the 2-up pad seat of course)? I don't know if Jackyl's mount can be flipped or moved to have two positions on the bike (or if you'd want it).
I'm sure you've seen my setup from earlier this year...
The wife rides with me from time to time, but no long trips yet. Since I go on long trips, I wanted a back rest for me that also doubles as storage. With this thing on, I can put 8 hours on my bike with no problem. I don't have a windshield or fairing (yet) so this back support pack can really eliminate the arm/chest/back fatigue.
But man Joe, your bike it really looking sick. I'll probably be re-reading your fairing thread 50X this offseason for help with my fairing project. I'm doing the research for the parts I want/need (like you, I want to use the HD detachable clamps).
