Default LED taillights

Want to relocate my turn signals to the rear tail light this winter (to get ready for addition of removable soft bags next year).

Found some combination lights that include an LED rear tail light.

If anyone has one - how does it perform? Do you prefer it to a normal light?

Depends on which one you get. I have the Panacea light, and it works extremly well; very bright and eye catching. But I've seen some LED lamps that are actually worse than stock.

Thanks Bob - the Panacea is actually one of the units I am considering actually. I like a bright & noticeable tail light.

Did you relocate your turn signals also?

I have a Kuryakin low profile LED light and the Harley turn signal/laydown license kit. Here is a pic:

Jackyl,

The tailight works great and is very bright. I like the plate and turn signal re-locate, but the "Harley Davidson" on the reflector strip does does not really fit with the look I am going for, so I may peel that off.

Hey Charlie..
I'm considering those turn signals for my Fatboy (yeah I'm lurking around in the dyna section. hehe
Those look like the strut mounted mini-bullets.
How do you like them? Are you running a full panacea setup or just LED's or other?

Kuryakyn LED Laydown brake/running light did it for me. Direct bolt on and what a difference in light output, both during the day and really bright at night.

Babs,
They are the mini strut mounts. The tail light is the laydown (not Panacea) LED, and the fronts (not pictured) are the small bullet LED's. I combined them with the brake/turn signal/running light controller. Everything went together as advertised with no problems. As you can see, the mini's are small, but my riding buddies say they show up well.
