You can't ride something like that and expect people to not think you have some screws loose. And just because it's a Harley, doesn't mean "anything goes". There was a video floating around showing a guy riding around in a thong.....this is the same principle. Do something for attention and that's what you get.....whether it be negative or funny.

He does ride the crap out of it. It was just a couple weeks back I was driving my truck on Interstate 44 and I looked over in the west bound lane and there he was. I'm sure you can see him at the Misssouri State HOG rally in late August or in September at lake of the Ozark BikeFest in September. If I get a chance I'll ask him how many times he has been pulled over and let you all know. It 's not some passing fad with him , it's been around for a long time.
Guy almost looks like he's being crucified. The bike looks better without the rider.
I saw a guy recently with ridiculously tall apes, but his arms were probably at a 20 degree angle while riding. Still has a standard shifter with the clutch operated by the left hand. I was really surprised to see that he was able to control it well at low speeds and while backing into a parking space.
I think ape-hangers are cool, as long as they're not on my bike. Like I always say, they're like some of the most fantastic tattoos I've ever seen. I love to see them on other people, but I wouldn't have a lot of those things tattooed on my body. I'm sure others feel the same way about the tattoos I have on my body.
Everyone has their own preference, and the coolest thing about Harleys is that they lend themselves to individualism. Some go for comfort, some for control, some for power, and some for radical looks. I prefer a balance of the above elements, where form and function work together to make a machine into a work of art.
On a final note, I find myself concerned for that guy's safety, and the safety of those around him. I simply can't believe that he could safely execute an emergency stop in a panic situation.
I'm not "hatin'" on him, just callin' 'em like I see 'em.
Yeah his pictures and videos have been posted on this forum quite a few times....you'll see lots of vids of him on youtube.
I'm not a fan of apes, especially those...they're way over the top (pun intended..lol)...but hey, it's his bike, not mine...its a free country.
I would think it's a bit unsafe, and I'd expect the mounting bolts get replaced quite often as they must snap at regular intervals. Or maybe he's done a big time welding job on it.
That's one way to take care of sweaty arm pits...much to the dislike of anyone that rides behind him...lol.

I said its " motorcycles", not Harleys so get that right. Your camparison of anything goes refering to a guy riding in a thong Is border line indecent exposure to the public which is a bigger offense than riding around with illegal apes.
I don't know how a person can compare to riding in a thong to a perosn with huge apes.

Try posting in the softail forum, maybe you get a better response. I doubt it though. Its a retarded looking bike and I think every one has seen it by now.

You post a pic of a "odd" looking bike, no caption, and expect everyone to say good things about it. If you guys are buds, great. Just don't post stupid **** and expect a hug fest.
BTW, YOU are the one that said "anything goes".
Edited out of respect for the bike owner-whether I like it or not.
