Did a Stage 1 with a heavy breather and Nightstick muffler, Signature Series Sundowner Seat with back rest, sissy bar with back rest, boom audio speakers, xm radio, engine guard and highway pegs so she is ready for some serious miles now...
Prior to the mods I put 600 miles on the bike in 2 weeks and she rides great and is quite nimble but now with the mods she rocks!
Mike M I know you must be happy with all those goodies added.
Did you have to do anything else when you added a heavy breather and nighstick?

I had the Signature Series Sundowner Seat with back rest, Stage 1 and Vance & Hines slip-ons added as well. Great power improvement!! I recentaly added an after market tour pack to get the full tour bike opportunity. With the built in back rest I can remove the sissy bar and pop on the luggage for farther rides.

My GF and I picked our bikes Tues. night. I got red, she got black (the silver just didn't do it for either of us). I was disappointed in the limited color selection. She would have prefered blue or white, I would have liked a dark blue...but we're happy with what we got.
No mods yet. I'm thinking a change in the pipes, it's a little too quiet for me. I hear a lot of talk about the Nightstick, is this a good choice? I'm not looking for LOUD, just something with more rumble.
Right now I'm trying to decide on a paint scheme. I'm thinking old school scallops, I'm not really in to the really flashy stuff, but I think the red needs to be broken up a little.
I traded in my '02 Heritage, which was a great bike. I won't bore you with all the good things about the Switchback, it's been covered by many others. All I can say is, I'm not sorry I traded. Tonight I pulled the windshield and bags. I can't remember when I've had as much fun on a bike. Fast and nible, it put a big ole smile on my face.

fast AND nimble... this best describes this bike. the handling is amazing on it not only at speed but in the parking lot, just turns in so tight
exhaust wise personally i went with the V&H slip on but there are a lot of better choices if you can afford them from D&D and Bassani.
also hate to break it to you but word is the 13 model will come in big blue pearl but that would have meant waiting until probably september
Just got mine, had it 9 days now, been raining, got to ride it a couple times, supposed to be not to bad the rest of the week here in erie pa, i wanna ride i love it, traded sportster in, already love this bike, cant wait to get mods, got v/h slip on ordered, will get se air cleaner when that comes in and then update programming

Enjoy that bike and if any small problems pop up, don't worry. It's a great machine and loads of fun. Everyone tells me after all I added to it, I should have just bought at 2012 Road King. Yeah, but then why am I leaving all the RKs so far behind?
Nice mods!!! I'm looking to buy the Samson Legend Street Sweeper exhaust and maybe the SE AC, but the cash isn't exactly flowing. So, I'll get the exhaust first cuz those stock pipes suck for sound and the Switchback I test rode had the nightstick on it and the sound wasn't what I was looking for...
I've got the sissybar and luggage rack and will do that over winter along with getting rid of the passenger footpegs. I bought passenger floorboards so these couple of things will keep me busy for a bit...will do those and maybe I'll have enough cash later to get the exhaust before the end of the year!
i see a couple you guys got passenger boards on, what and where did you get? go right on or have to buy brace brackets and all? id like to get some for the wife, really thinking of mini boards kinda maybe, she doesnt ride that often,
