Just how much do you really need to see? When adjusted properly you can easily tell if someone is there, and if you don't see someone in your mirror you should be looking over your shoulder just to be safe.

Personally I felt the Ness would be too small until I actually mounted them and went riding with them.

Agree. I have the same Ness mirrors and they're convex so when properly adjusted work really well. BTW, 8541hog, I like how you mounted them.

Thanks, I really hate having mirrors stick up over the bars, especially big ones they clutter my view.

I traded my chrome ones for some stock black ones and like them well enough. If I do switch out I'd like to get these...the mirror is convex and allows more visibility than their size would imply.

Have you considered inverting your stock mirror(s)? That is what I am currently using. Using one on the left side. You do lose some viewing area but head checks are the real safety imho. I do like the arrow style that joe has on his ride too, but I am not ready to commit just yet.

I have also used the same Ness mirrors as 8541hog and bigdaddy33 and they do work surprisingly well for the size as they have stated. The look really good with mini apes imho. Since switching to zbars I find less clutter up top suits my bike better.

Good luck with your search.

Tom

I have a set of scythe mirrors that I got on Ebay for like 30 bucks. I think they're knockoffs of the Kury ones. Love 'em.

I tried a few sets of aftermarket mirrors but I didn't feel like I could they well with them on.

Personally I want to see as much as possible. I had a set of aftermarket mirrors that had regular mirrors unlike the stock convex mirrors (objects are closer than they appear). When adjusted where I liked them a I had a bout a 15-20 ft blind spot on each side that the factory mirros did not have. I always try to look over my shoulder, but I would rather not have a big *** blind spot in the event that I have to react quickly or I forget. If I ever do get after market again it will have the convex mirrors that are like the factory ones. They may not look as cool, but I preferr function over cool looking for the most part.
