I need some suggestions. I guess I should just call the dealership and see what they say. I recently bought a 2007 Vivid Black Street Bob. When it came time for the first cleaning, I noticed finger prints on the paint. I thought they would just come off, but they are under the clear coat. There are about 3 spots with large finger prints. They are not easy to see, but in the sunlight you can see them easily. Here is my question, do you think the dealership is going to replace my tank or tell me, sorry to late, should've noticed that when you took delivery. Thanks

I would THINK that you still are under the Warranty.....

If its under the clear coat,...It is definately a warranty issue. Just go back and have a talk with your dealer.

May need a PI to lift the prints and take them to the MoCo for a match.

If it is under the clear, and you have tried to have it buffed out, it should be a warrenty issue.

However, if you added one modification of paint to the tank, it will not be covered
